* Significant experience developing web applications for internal teams and external customers.
* Proven experience building complex web applications with Next.js.
* Expertise in JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern React, including Hooks, Context API, Server and Client Components.
* The ability to implement best practices in usability, accessibility, and inclusive design.
Responsibilities:
* As a Front End Developer, your focus will be on creating exceptional user experiences across our digital estate. You will:
* Build web applications for our staff and service users with the aim of elevating performance to better support our users and enable our teams to provide services that assist hundreds of thousands of people across the UK.
* Develop applications that are feature-rich, user-friendly, and incorporate responsive user interfaces using React/Next.js.
* Utilize TypeScript and Tailwind CSS coupled with organisational branding for style, informed by insights from user analytics and behavior tracking tools to meet user expectations.
* Implement automated UI testing to ensure that everything functions as required and delivers the performance we need to fulfill our obligations.
