Job summary
The Neonatal Unit at Warrington and Halton NHS Foundation Trust is a level 2 unit providing care for babies from 27 weeks' gestation. We have 14 cots in total, consisting of two intensive care cots, four high dependency and eight special care cots. We are looking for a detail-oriented person with a passion for neonatal data analysis to work in partnership with our medical, nursing and administrative teams to ensure neonatal data is collected and recorded appropriately. The post holder will also liaise with the Northwest Neonatal Operational Delivery Network (NWNODN) to support the National Neonatal Audit Programme (NNAP).
Main duties of the job
* Staff training for BadgerNet and access management for all staff
* To manage admin tasks related to creating/removing access credentials, clearance for data download requests etc.
* To ensure compliance to all data requirements for NNAP & NHS England specialist services quality dashboard.
* Generate data quality reports for National Maternity and Perinatal Audit
* To support with data requirements for finance, perinatal meetings, clinical governance forums and peer review preparatory work.
* To produce relevant reports to help inform the Division and the Trust about the activity and acuity relating to the levels of care delivered on the unit.
* Prepare list of term admissions in the neonatal unit every week towards ATAIN meeting and enter the review reports onto the system.
* To monitor data quality and output on NIPE S4N platform for NNU and TC and to report discrepancy relating to KPI compliance

Job responsibilities
The post holder will be a member of the Neonatal multi-disciplinary team providing administrative support to the team and monitoring and maintaining the neonatal electronic patient record system called Badgernet. The post holder will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, must be flexible in approach, able to exercise initiative and demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism, being aware of the need for confidentiality and integrity. The post holder will be expected to support the Ward Clerk role during periods of absence as required by the service.

Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of working in a data entry role within a busy office
* Knowledge of speciality
* NHS experience
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in business administration or equivalent experience
* English Language and Maths to GCSE level or higher
* Advanced secretarial/typing qualifications (RSA III or equivalent)
Skills, Knowledge and Competencies
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint
* Knowledge of spreadsheets, experience preparing complex documents, analysis of figures for presentations and reports
* Knowledge of Badgernet and Lorenzo systems
* Able to organise own workload
