Grassland Agro sources, produces, and sells a comprehensive range of conventional and speciality fertilizers, soil conditioning products, animal mineral blocks, biostimulants, and dairy hygiene products. As part of Groupe Roullier, our R&D is centered at our Global Innovation Center in St. Malo. We pride ourselves on delivering superior technical advice on-farm, which supports our growth and product quality.
We are seeking a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager for the Northern Ireland region. The ideal candidate will develop long-term relationships with customers, connect with industry stakeholders, and report to the Speciality Business Commercial Manager. Responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing strategic and operational sales plans.
2. Enhancing technical presentation of our products to match regional needs.
3. Optimizing distribution and operational costs.
4. Managing relationships with trade customers, including product support, customer service, and credit control.
5. Overseeing sales administration policies.
6. Supporting and managing the technical sales team, including recruitment, target setting, and performance management.
7. Motivating the team to optimize sales and service.
8. Promoting company policies on HR, health and safety, pricing, and terms.
9. Participating actively in company development and operational teams.
Requirements:
* Degree in Agriculture and/or Business.
* Proven experience as a sales manager or representative with target achievement.
* Technical knowledge of the agriculture sector.
* Strong commercial skills and relationship management at trade and farm levels.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* Effective communication and presentation skills.
* Positive problem-solving attitude.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Valid clean driver’s license.
