Health Visiting Community Nursery Nurse – Supporting Government's Best Start in Life Agenda
Are you passionate about giving children the best possible start in life? We are seeking motivated and forward‑thinking practitioners to join our Health Visiting and Family Hub team, working at the forefront of government initiatives around early years, school readiness, and the Best Start in Life agenda. This role supports families and young children across Trafford to achieve positive health, wellbeing, and social outcomes, ensuring every child is ready for school and able to thrive.
Core service hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30. You must be able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
Responsibilities
* Deliver effective health visiting services to a defined population.
* Undertake delegated clinical duties as directed by the Registered Health Visitor.
* Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive school readiness and support the government's Best Start in Life priorities.
* Carry out delegated tasks in the client’s home and liaise with internal and external contacts.
Qualifications
* Nursery Nurse qualification / NVQ Level 3.
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Ability to work independently and independently manage time and priorities.
* Strong IT literacy.
