This role is ideally suited to a Structural Engineer looking to step up into a client-facing and project-leading position, moving beyond pure design into a role with greater responsibility and long-term progression. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership while mentoring junior engineers, helping to strengthen the next generation of technical and client leadership within the practice.
Projects are predominantly design-led and span sectors including healthcare, commercial, and education, with a varied workload incorporating surveys, assessments, detailed design, and early-stage project input.

Senior Structural Engineer Job Requirements
Chartered or Near-Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE / MICE or working toward)
Experience within a generalist structural engineering consultancy
Strong structural design capability across building structures
Desire to develop into a client-facing, project-running role
Ability to mentor and support graduate and junior engineers
Experience delivering projects from concept through to construction
Software experience with Tekla and/or TEDDS beneficial, but not essential
Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional approach
