System Analyst / Mainframe Developer
Initial 6 Month Contract
Hybrid Monthly visit to Lytham
£500-£520pd (Outside IR35)
We are currently seeking a skilled System Analyst / Mainframe Developer with proven experience in IBM z-series mainframe technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PL1, SYNCSORT, DB2, IMS DB, MVS JCL, TSO, JobTrac, ENDEVOR, and File Manager.
Role Requirements:
Experience interrogation of mainframe applications built in the above technologies to support data mapping (e.g., Source to Target data fields).
Proven experience in developing codebases in the specified technologies to undertake data extracts based on agreed specifications.
Experience in large-scale migration programmes is advantageous.
Background in Life, Protection, or Insurance roles is beneficial.
Recent experience of PL/I and Syncsort
