We are looking for an Assistant Health Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor to join our Building Operating Unit in London. This is a rare opportunity that could be suited to individuals looking to change careers into Health and Safety. This will be a site-based role with travel across projects in Central London.
What you'll do:
1. Support the HSW Manager in implementing health, safety and wellbeing policies, procedures, and initiatives.
2. Assist in conducting risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
3. Help maintain accurate records and documentation in line with legal and organizational requirements.
4. Contribute to the development and delivery of HSW training and awareness campaigns.
5. Monitor and report on HSW performance metrics and trends.
6. Provide guidance and support to staff on day-to-day HSW matters.
What you'll bring to the role:
7. Working towards degree or equivalent level qualification in Occupational Health Safety & Wellbeing or related construction subject.
8. Working knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships.
11. Good organisational and time management skills.
