The Role
As a Night Manager, you will be the face of the hotel during evening and overnight hours, ensuring that our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay. You will act as the central point of contact for both guests and team members, handling operational needs and ensuring the smooth running of the property during your shift. This role requires a balance of leadership, guest service, and practical problem-solving, as you will often be the decision-maker on duty. You will represent the hotel with professionalism and warmth, creating a welcoming environment for every guest, regardless of the hour.
* Acting as the primary contact for guests, providing assistance, resolving issues, and promoting the hotel’s amenities, bars, and restaurants.
* Responding to guest complaints or requests promptly and effectively.
* Coordinating emergency responses, including leading fire evacuations and ensuring guest and staff safety.
* Conducting and documenting regular fire walks and safety checks during your shift.
* Maintaining accurate and thorough shift handovers to the next team.
The Person
The ideal candidate for our Night Manager role is a person with a clear passion for service. You engage with guests easily and you are able to use your intuition and creativity to deliver a wonderful experience for everyone. The ability to multitask and prioritise is important, as well as the ability to work well under pressure with a broad smile. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, produce quality work and be flexible to work shifts.
Experience within a similar environment is preferable and knowing the use of OnQ, however, we look for attitude, quality and interpersonal skills rather than experience as we will give you the tools to ensure you are successful in your role.
