Conveyancing Secretary/Paralegal – Bromsgrove
The Role:
A well-established law firm based in Bromsgrove is currently seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Secretary or Paralegal to join its growing team on a full-time, on-site basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in residential conveyancing to provide crucial support to the Head of Property Services. You will not run your own caseload or undertake fee-earning responsibilities but will play a key role in the smooth running of residential property transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Head of Property Services throughout the conveyancing process
* Drafting SDLTs, Replies to Requisitions and Transfer Deeds
* Managing AML onboarding procedures
* Producing case management letters
* Opening and closing files
* Liaising with clients and estate agents to provide timely updates
* Handling a variety of administrative tasks associated with residential conveyancing
Your Requirements:
* A minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in residential conveyancing is essential
* Strong working knowledge of conveyancing procedures
* Excellent communication, telephone and typing skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
* Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and use initiative
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
* A team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment
