Head of Built Environment Futures Assembly
Part time (21 hrs/wk), permanent
Remote place of work
Salary range £50,000 to £58,000 FTE pa plus benefits
Built Environment Futures Assembly (BEFA) is a newly established initiative aiming to positively impact the built environment. This is a new role, offering a fantastic opportunity to lead its development and implementation.
As the Head of BEFA, you will facilitate strategic stakeholder engagement and drive collaboration to address industry challenges. You will contribute to policy and best practice through evidence-based outputs and support BEFA in tackling key sectoral issues via engagement, education, and collaboration.
This role is ideal for an enthusiastic forward-thinker eager to contribute to UCEM’s growth and its impact on the built environment.
Your responsibilities include:
* Lead the development, delivery, and implementation of BEFA, ensuring stakeholder alignment and quality standards
* Build and sustain networks across decision-making forums, including the BEFA’s Strategic Advisory Board and thematic workstreams
* Organize and facilitate workshops, roundtables, and stakeholder meetings (in-person and virtual)
* Provide expertise and advice related to BEFA across UCEM and participate in organizational initiatives
Main requirements:
* Experience in developing networks, engaging high-level external stakeholders, and managing relationships
* Experience in the built environment, higher education, or related sectors
* Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing, complex organization
