Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner with a minimum level 3 childcare qualification to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children aged 0-5 years.
Duties
* Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
* Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team environment that promotes best practices in childcare.
* Assist in managing daily nursery operations, including maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
* Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Experience
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications (such as Level 3 Childcare qualification) is highly desirable.
* Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
