As our client's Marketing team continues to focus on driving the business forwards, we are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join a team that operates with integrity, is passionate about quality and is fully committed to the success of its customers.
Are you a creative and driven individual looking to jumpstart your career in marketing? We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of marketing projects, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Role & Responsibilities
* Assist in the development, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, print, and events.
* Create, edit, and proofread engaging content for marketing materials, such as articles, adverts, emails, social media updates, website copy, and presentations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
* Manage and update our Shopify e-commerce site, including product descriptions, landing pages, and other content, ensuring accuracy, SEO optimisation, and engaging presentation.
* Support email marketing campaigns, automations, and customer journeys using Klaviyo.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to support marketing strategy.
* Support the organisation and coordination of marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
* Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
* Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Department as required.
Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software/tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Klaviyo, Shopify). Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and meet deadlines.
* Creative thinker with a passion for marketing, content creation, and keeping up to date with industry trends.
* Previous marketing experience or internship is desirable but not essential.
