The role is varied, requiring strong communication skills for interacting with guests and owners via phone and email. You should be a friendly, helpful individual who enjoys taking ownership of our managed holiday homes, ensuring compliance and conducting inspections. Full training and support from our team will be provided as you learn on the job.
Our small but growing team of 10 is looking for a like-minded individual who cares deeply about their work.
We offer competitive salaries and benefits, including:
* A lovely office space in Canterbury
* Ongoing training & development
* Birthdays off
* Team days out
* Discounts and perks (including free coffee!)
* Private healthcare
* Pension scheme
* Potential for hybrid working after 6 months
Working hours are 40 per week: Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rotation (1 in 4). Part-time options (minimum 30 hours) are also considered.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing enquiries via calls, emails, and messages
* Building relationships with property owners and suppliers, providing advice and handling queries
* Onboarding new property owners and uploading properties online
* Supporting property management, business development, and owner services teams
* Arranging annual compliance documents such as gas safety checks
* Coordinating maintenance with suppliers
* Conducting regular property inspections and reporting on condition
* Ordering supplies for holiday homes
* Motivated by results—resolving issues promptly
* Providing excellent customer care and managing complaints
* Supporting other business areas as needed (holiday cover, sick leave)
Some Saturday, bank holiday, and evening work is required, but we promote a good work/life balance with a passion for our work.
Ideal candidates will have previous experience in customer service or administration—preferably in property management, lettings, or travel—and enjoy engaging with people, showing enthusiasm and passion for properties and client care.
Requirements include:
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
* Minimum two years of customer service experience
Above all, a positive, enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to excellent service are essential. As a small team, adaptability and teamwork are key to success.
