About The Role
As a Unit Manager at HC-One, you will prioritize one key value: kindness. This value influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities include overseeing a specific part of the home and ensuring the highest level of care. You may also be required to manage the entire home in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager. Whether reporting mobility issues, requesting samples for monitoring, or administering medication, your focus will always be on maintaining resident dignity and well-being.

About You
You will have proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, and sense of accountability are essential. You will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues alike.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns when necessary.
