Machine Operative – Coventry (CV6)

Pay Rate: £15.36 (£31,948 per annum)
Shifts: Rotating | Monday to Friday
Overtime: Available at premium rates
Empowered Personnel are currently recruiting Machine Operatives for a well established manufacturing company based in Coventry (CV6). This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Machine Operatives looking for a long term, stable position within a fast-paced production environment offering career progression and development opportunities.
Shift Details
Weekly rotating shifts (Monday to Friday):
o06:00–14:00
o14:00–22:00
o22:00–06:00
Machine Operative Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
•Operate and monitor production machinery efficiently as a Machine Operative.
•Carry out basic machine maintenance including cleaning and minor adjustments.
•Identify and report any equipment faults, breakdowns, or production issues promptly.
Quality Control
•Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
•Conduct regular quality checks for defects or inconsistencies.
•Complete all required quality documentation accurately and on time.
Packing & Despatch
•Prepare, label, and pack products for despatch safely and securely.
•Maintain accurate despatch and inventory records.
Machine Operative Requirements
•Proven experience working as a Machine Operative in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
•Good understanding of quality control and production processes.
•Physically fit – able to lift up to 15kg.
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
•Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
•Basic mechanical knowledge or aptitude is advantageous.
