Our focus extends to children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

We are seeking passionate SEN / SEND tutors who are eager to make a real difference in the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners in South Yorkshire. If you’re ready to inspire and empower, we want to hear from you!

As part of our team, you will be supported by our dedicated SEN / SEND Support Specialists, ensuring that you have the resources and guidance needed to succeed in every placement.

What We Offer Our SEN / SEND Tutors:

*
Flexible Hours: Choose part-time or full-time hours that fit your schedule.

*
Remote Opportunities: Enjoy occasional online teaching assignments from the comfort of your home.

*
Professional Development: Access extensive CPD and upskilling opportunities, including the full Tes CPD suite.

*
Supportive Community: Join our tutor community to share best practices, resources, and tips with fellow educators.

*
Child-Centered Focus: Be part of a company committed to transforming support for vulnerable young people.

Your Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor:

* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.

* Support students referred by local authorities and schools, guiding them on their educational and social-emotional journeys.

* Utilize flexible and holistic, trauma-informed approaches to tutoring and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver tailored teaching sessions that meet the unique needs of each student.

* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that foster educational and social-emotional growth.

* Document lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.

Requirements to Join Our Team:

* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).

* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.

* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.

* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.

* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost).

* Two professional references.

* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.

It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.

Employment Status:

* This role involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.

* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.

* No guaranteed work or expense coverage is provided.

* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.

* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.

We can’t wait to see your CV showcasing your skills and experiences that can help us make a difference!

Due to the volume of applications, we may not respond to every applicant, but we aim to get back to successful candidates within two weeks.

We encourage applications from minority and LGBTQIA+ communities, individuals with disabilities, refugees, migrants, and those living with mental health conditions.

We take Safer Recruitment seriously. All candidates must pass through our rigorous processes to ensure their suitability for working with children and young people.
