As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and delivery of bespoke and customised ventilation systems for projects across a diverse range of sectors. This is a hands-on role involving close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and clients — helping support each project from concept stage and technical specification, through to installation and commissioning.
A key part of your work will involve coordinating and planning the commissioning ventilation controls, ensuring each system performs efficiently and meets the specific demands of the environment it's designed for.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can grasp both the mechanical and electrical fundamentals of HVAC systems, but also someone with strong organisational skills and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with all stakeholders.
Product training will be provided, both in-house and via manufacturer training, but the ideal candidate will already possess a sound knowledge of building services concepts, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning. An appreciation of basic electrical theory would also be beneficial.
The role would be ideally suited to a graduate with an engineering or building services related degree.
Travel to customer offices and sites will be an integral part of the job. The majority of such travel will be within Northern Ireland, but occasional travel to ROI will be involved, with periodic trips to GB and mainland Europe. Fairhaven supports hybrid working where possible.
