We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical experience to join our team at our Fort William facility. This role is vital in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical equipment and supporting the development of a proactive, reliability-centred maintenance culture in collaboration with operations.

* £8,000 relocation package + 3 months paid rent + starting bonus
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver planned and reactive maintenance in line with HSEQ and engineering standards
* Ensure all isolation procedures are followed to manage hazardous energy
* Lead and manage a team of tradespeople and apprentices within your area
* Develop and implement the weekly maintenance schedule using CMMS systems
* Promote a safety-first culture across maintenance activities
* Provide hands-on support, fault finding and coaching to maintenance teams
* Act as a key liaison for engineering contractors, ensuring safe and compliant delivery
* Support equipment upgrades and the installation of new plant machinery
* Drive reliability improvement initiatives using lean engineering principles
* Assist in training and mentoring apprentices to develop time-served capabilities
* Work towards appointment as Isolation Officer and Senior Authorised Person
Requirements and Experience
HNC or above in a relevant engineering discipline (electrical preferred)
Extensive maintenance experience in a heavy industrial or COMAH regulated environment
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance
Familiarity with industrial-scale process plants and technical documentation
Demonstrated ability to coach and manage engineering staff
Clear communication skills – both written and verbal
Strong planning, coordination, and fault-diagnosis capabilities

* Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
* Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
