Job Description:
Fidarsi is partnering with an established Wealth Manager to recruit a Training and Competency Manager. This role involves supporting the HR team by managing the training and competency department.
Responsibilities include:
* Implementing and overseeing an effective Training & Competency Scheme
* Providing tools and support for employee compliance and development
* Ensuring investment managers hold appropriate qualifications
* Maintaining CPD records and liaising with training bodies
* Managing relationships with training providers and arranging in-house and online training
* Collaborating with HR and Compliance to maintain accurate training records
* Conducting competency assessments and regulatory checks
* Supporting annual appraisals and induction programs
* Managing online training programs and providing management information
* Ensuring team members are trained to cover absences
* Undertaking ad hoc projects as needed
* Administering appraisal processes for staff certifications
* Organizing compliance reviews and training documentation
* Participating in recruitment and talent management
* Designing learning interventions and fostering a coaching culture
* Keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes and maintaining HRIS data
* Organizing FCA training compliance and facilitating face-to-face training sessions
Required skills and experience:
* Strong relationship management and influencing skills
* Excellent communication and organizational abilities
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of FCA regulations (TC, SYSC, COBs, APER, FIT)
* Previous experience in a similar role
