As a member of Chester County Tourism, the individual in this position is responsible for actively and passionately contributing to the team’s achievement of its annual and long-term goals which support the economic growth and sustainability for Chester County, primarily its tourism-related businesses. Specifically, this role entails supporting the entire organization with a myriad of administrative sales, marketing and events tasks to help ensure greatest efficiencies, strong productivity, and smooth operations.
Role and Responsibilities:
SALES & MARKETING SUPPORT
· Manage sales and partner accounts in CRM including adding new data and maintaining exisiting records, and tracking room night pick-up for major events.
· Conduct research on prospective groups and markets using tools like Cvent, Playeasy, LinkedIn, and others to support sales prospecting.
· Coordinate the domestic and international tradeshow schedule, including registration, shipping materials, researching of appointments and CRM updates post-show.
· Serve as liaison with marketing agencies to develop sales materials, including sell sheets, print/digital ads, website content, and social media assets.
· Provide service support for sports, weddings, tour, and meeting groups (off-site venue requests, partner referrals, etc.)
· Lead and coordinate with guest services the Welcome Bag program for sports tournaments, wedding and meeting groups.
· Participate in team brainstorming, problem solving and planning sessions.
· Maintain presence and post on sales social media, including existing Meet in CC and Sports Facebook and Instagram.
· Source and purchase branded giveaway items, ensuring product quality, correct logo placement, and timely delivery.
· Maintain inventory of logo items and event supplies in storage units with support from Visitor Center Specialist.
EVENTS SUPPORT
· Coordinate onsite visitor booth program at amateur sports tournaments and other relevant events; may require managing outsourced suppliers.
· Support Manager of Visitor & Partner Services with event logistics for all major CVB Partner and Sales related Events.
· Schedule four board meetings at local partner venues and manage meeting logistics (AV, Catering, and setup)
· Assist with logistics for FAM (familiarzation) trips hosted for media, clients, and tour operators.
· Serve as a backup during the week to Guest Services Team in the Visitor Center as needed.
· All other related tasks and special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements
· Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience; background in sales and marketing preferred.
· Knowledge of the tourism industry and familiarity with Chester County are preferred.
· Proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and virtual meeting platforms.
· Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
