Grocery Account Executive
We’re on the hunt for an ambitious & talented Grocery Account Executive who can bring our commercial strategy to life and develop strong relationships with our retail partners.
1. Upselling/growing new and existing accounts.
2. Supporting the wider sales team with day-to-day tasks including; new line setup, EPOS, invoice tracking and promotional set up.
3. Analysing promotional activity and creating actionable insights.
4. Working with account managers to support in JBP building and annual business planning.
5. Manage P&L and forecasting of assigned accounts. Delivering value, volume and margin metrics.
6. Build cross-functional relationships with key customer contacts across buying, supply chain, category & merchandising teams.
7. Deliver visibility and penetration through in-store activation (POS, secondary displays & key events).
8. Collaborate with the Category Manager to develop category stories & insights that drive business benefits.
Profile
About You
You will likely be an existing National Account Executive seeking more exposure to the top 4 grocery accounts. Alternatively, you may be a recent graduate ready to start your career in grocery FMCG.
Key qualities include:
* High numeracy skills and confidence in handling and analysing data.
* Resilience and determination, working effectively through obstacles.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive relevant insights from data.
* Excellent relationship-building skills and a collaborative attitude with grocery buying teams.
