Learning & Development Manager Belfast, Northern Ireland £48,000 per annum Black Fox Solutions are currently recruiting for a compassionate, strategic, and forward-thinking Learning & Development Manager on behalf of a well-established organisation within the health and social care sector. This is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering a comprehensive learning and development strategy across care services. The successful candidate will design, implement, and lead a robust competency framework that strengthens workforce capability, builds confidence, and supports the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care. Key Responsibilities Identify organisational learning and development needs through regular engagement with senior leadership, operational managers, and HR. Design and implement blended learning programmes aligned with company policies, current legislation, regulatory standards (including RQIA), and sector best practice. Deliver structured inductions for new starters, ensuring alignment with organisational values and expectations. Ensure all statutory and mandatory training requirements are achieved and maintained. Promote a culture of continuous professional development and lifelong learning. Support succession planning initiatives and develop talent pipelines for future leadership roles. Monitor compliance training metrics, identifying trends, risks, and areas for improvement. Evaluate and measure the effectiveness and return on investment of training initiatives. Maintain accurate training records and implement audit systems to mitigate compliance risk. Review and adapt training programmes in response to legislative updates and operational changes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote learning initiatives across the organisation. Please note, responsibilities may evolve in line with business needs. Criteria Proven experience designing and delivering blended learning solutions within the health and social care sector. NMC registration (essential). Strong understanding of regulatory standards and healthcare legislation. Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Creative and adaptable approach to programme design and delivery. Full UK driving licence with access to transport for business travel.
