We are an expanding and diversifying company and have an opening for a Project Manager to work with our Management team.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be required to assist the Managing Director and management team in the design, administration, servicing and commissioning of high end construction projects including specialist leisure and lifestyle projects including swimming pools, spas, saunas, steam rooms, cinema rooms, games rooms, gymnasiums etc. in and around London & the South East
Whilst specific experience in our sector is not a requirement, we would prefer candidates to have previous & relevant work experience in the commercial construction sector and/or high end residential construction.
This role is varied and rewarding and remuneration will reflect the experience and abilities of the successful candidate.
This is a critical role in the company which involves assisting in the procurement of materials, management of site operations and handover of projects.
The successful candidate would assist the design team & be the clients initial point of contact until project hand-over, dealing with day to day site management and assist in project design.
Typically, this would involve 2-3 days per week in the office and the remaining days attending project sites for meetings with our team and other contractor’s, architects and engineers.
Requirements:
The Candidate will need to meet the following criteria:
* Can conduct site surveys & record details / dimensions accurately
* Develop schemes, reporting directly to the Construction Director
* Min 2 years’ experience in the construction sector
* Must be competent and efficient in the use of transcribing AutoCAD drawings
* Experience in Procurement of materials and logging Project Costings
* Have excellent numerical ability and be computer literate & competent with Microsoft Office Package
* Have good communication skills and be able to work alone on your own initiative and as part of a team
* Be located near Rayleigh, Essex and prepared to travel throughout London, Essex and the home counties.
* To conduct themselves professionally / respectfully at all times
* Hold a full driving license and a valid CSCS card
* Be CIS registered with a UTR number
Remuneration:
Salary will be on a sub-contractors basis (CIS) and dependent on abilities and experience.
