About The Role
Working as a Pharmacy dispenser supporting the supply of CMBP in a specialist Private pharmacy. This is a niche role in a growing area. You would be working alongside specialist Clinical Pharmacists to make CMBP more accessible for all patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Receiving and validating prescriptions ready for a clinical check
* Processing patient information appropriately
* Supporting the Responsible Pharmacist & Technicians in the daily operations of the Pharmacist
* Being the first point of contact for any queries to the Pharmacy
* Maintaining relevant records for the supply of CMBP
* Maintaining stock and security of any CMBP on site
* Maintaining communication of prescription to the Department of Health to meet Regulatory Requirements
* Supporting governance in the Pharmacy to ensure the pharmacy is operating as safely as possible
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
* A UK qualified Pharmacy dispenser
* Ideally Undertaken CPD-accredited medical cannabis educational programme - this can be provided
* Self-motivated individual with high levels of attention to detail, able to work accurately, identifying errors quickly and easily
* Experience in working in the pharmacy dispensary either primary and/or secondary environment
* Has attention to detail, patience and the ability to remain calm during stressful situations
* Excellence in communication skills with staff, patients and other healthcare professionals.
* Professional, ethical and committed to providing excellent customer care
* Excellent computer literacy with good working knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
