As Asset Finance Manager you will proactively manage the Bank's asset finance portfolio to ensure good customer outcomes and promote a strong customer experience throughout the product lifecycle. Engaging with clients to develop and maintain strong relationships, understand business needs, provide tailored solutions and act as a trusted adviser to clients offering guidance on financing options. Proactively engaging across Corporate Banking, Business Centres, Agri-Business, Small Business and Private Banking to promote asset finance products and services. You'll also identify opportunities to expand the asset finance portfolio with existing and new to bank customers who have a need for Asset Finance products and solutions, through targeted lead generation, internal and external referrals and a structured contact programme. You'll also: Maintain detailed knowledge of the business, corporate and specialist business products and services available and how these satisfy the needs of the customer, to identify and recommend to the customer opportunities for cross selling. Analyse company or individual financial information and related information to determine suitability for Asset Finance products and solutions, and to structure a solution on this basis. Ensure the effective management of risk and the asset quality of all business conducted. Contribute to the development of a high performing team through coordination of efforts and sharing of best practice and professional knowledge while working closely with colleagues in credit, operations and relationship management teams. To ensure customers' business conducted complies with all existing legal, regulatory and voluntary code obligations, and all Bank standards, policies, processes and procedures. Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: Strong client focus with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer experiences and quality service delivery. Proficiency in analysing financial statements and market trends to make informed decisions Ability to collaborate and positively influence stakeholders externally and across the organisation. Strong time management skills with ability to meet pressing deadlines, deliver at pace and be flexible to adapt to change. Ability to identify improvement opportunities, share best practice and create culture of continuous improvement. Proven track record of self-development and continuous learning, with drive to support team development.
