🔹 Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our accessible vehicles division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, nurturing client relationships, and representing the company at industry events. This role requires a proactive approach, strong negotiation skills, and a understanding of the accessible transport vehicles sector.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets
* Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure
* Conduct regular customer site visits across the UK to build rapport and assess client needs
* Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events as a brand ambassador
* Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction
* Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline progress
* Provide market feedback and contribute to product development discussions
* Reporting to National Head of Sales
🔹 Travel Requirements
* Frequent travel to customer sites nationwide
* Overnight stays required depending on location and client schedules
* Attendance at key trade shows and exhibitions, occasionally over weekends
🔹 Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the automotive or accessible vehicles sector.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Confident negotiator with a consultative sales approach
* Full UK driving licence (Category C1 would be beneficial)
