Job Description
3. .Processing purchase ledger & inventory invoices.
4. Uploading invoices in our Document approval system
5. Coding invoices to the appropriate account
6. Follow up on invoices approval with the appropriate manager
7. Reconcile supplier statements and keep them informed about next payment run.
8. Raising payments to suppliers.
9. Credit Control back up
10. Processing Customer Receipts and Bank Payments
11. Creating and posting general ledger journals.
12. Raising Debit Notes to Intercompany accounts
13. Bank Reconciliations
14. Accruals & Prepayments
15. Ad hoc tasks
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
16. A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
17. Proficiency in using accounting software and standard office applications.
18. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
19. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
20. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement.
