Experience providing high-quality care to older adults or within a nursing home care setting. Knowledge of care planning and best practice in person-centred care. Compassionate, patient, and able to build trusting relationships with residents and families. Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative team approach. Reliable, punctual, and committed to ongoing professional development. Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to care staff during night shifts. Dispense and administer medications accurately, maintaining all required records. Safeguard residents’ wellbeing by following correct reporting and documentation procedures. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Monitor residents’ health and respond quickly to any changes or emergencies. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and the Care Standards Act.
