Job Description
Hales Group are working with a fantastic new client based in Attleborough, Norfolk to assist them in finding a Draughtsperson to join their friendly team. To be successful in this role, you should exhibit experience in a similar role of design or draughting. Be process driven, controlled under pressure and importantly a team player for the delivery of a very demanding sector of manufacturing. The ability to multi-task in a complex and demanding environment and have the ability to build and maintain highly effective working relationships with a range of people (both internally and externally). Draughtsperson Responsibilities:
* Proven experience as a Draughtsperson, ideally within bespoke joinery, interiors, exhibitions, or set build industries
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software)
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and joinery techniques
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to interpret and visualise creative design concepts into technical outputs
* Good communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines
* Excellent organizational skills.
* The ability to effectively take direction and work collaboratively
* Role reports to the Design Manager
Desirable Skills:
* Experience working in a workshop or manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of CNC machinery and programming
* Familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite
