Main duties of the job
All Age Continuing Care(AACC) is a collective term for services provided by the NHS. These services assess and provide funding for the care of individuals of all ages to meet their ongoing health and care needs, in accordance with national eligibility criteria. The NHS Sussex AACC Team brings services together to ensure smooth transitions when peoples needs change and/or they move between eligibility for different services.
The Senior Administrator plays a leading role as part of a particularly dynamic customer facing team. The team act as first point of contact for the department, triaging enquiries, dealing with routine and specialist queries in a pleasant and helpful manner. Communicating relevant information to stakeholders (including the public, patients, relatives, NHS professionals, adult social care, nursing homes and other providers), referring to AACC Practitioners (Nurses, Social Workers, Allied Health Professionals) asappropriate, taking messages and signposting to the relevant departments/person.
Be a leading member of theoperational administration team covering complex administrative tasks relating to All Age ContinuingHealthcare. Supporting the team with the daily supervision of AACC assessment / commissioningsystems, processes and support staff.
