RP International have partnered with a worldwide media outlet to shortlist for a Delivery Lead (Business Management Systems). This Delivery Lead position is a permanent hybrid working role based in London and offers a salary of up to £85k depending on your experience and alignment to the role.
We are seeking a Delivery Lead to join the organisation's Group Technology team. The remit of the role is to plan, manage and deliver the roadmap across the Business Management Systems group, made up of two teams, which develop the back-office platforms that motor HR, Finance and ops systems. You will act as Scrum Master to these two teams. The role also requires some project management, working alongside other programme managers to deliver larger strategic initiatives.
We will look at how you can impact the metrics in areas like managing the funnel of requests into the teams, enhancing the quality, value and throughput of work items, and increasing the speed and efficiency with which back-office projects are delivered.

Accountabilities
* Lead and manage two platform ops teams. Perform the role of Delivery Lead and Scrum Master.
* Review end-to-end delivery and agile ways of working to ensure the teams are optimised across platform, engineering and QA.
* Use agile metrics to optimise team planning, estimation and ways of working.
* Project management of larger strategic initiatives, collaborating with other programme managers when appropriate.
* Manage detailed quarterly capacity plans (Google) and monthly roadmap plans (Jira Advanced Roadmaps).
* Identify and proactively manage delivery dependencies across the teams and with other delivery teams.
* Proactively monitor progress, resolve issues and initiate appropriate corrective action.
* Ensure the overall integrity, predictability and visibility of the roadmap.
Experience, skills and professional attributes
* Experience delivering HR or Finance back-office platform requirements and projects (e.g. Sage, PeopleSoft, People Hub, SAP).
* Oversee the entire delivery lifecycle, from inception to closure, ensuring each phase is completed appropriately (consider delivery phases like discovery, E2E testing, ops readiness, rollout and wash-up).
* Capability to manage multiple software development teams simultaneously.
* Strong understanding of and significant experience in a variety of Agile approaches. Willing to adopt ways of working as appropriate.
* Advanced user of Google Suite (including Jira integrations), Miro for workshop facilitation, Jira and Confluence.
* Detailed status reporting and risk and issue management.
* Ability to understand and articulate technical ideas clearly, adjusted for the audience in question.
* Pragmatic and flexible, with a willingness to take on different roles and responsibilities in order to successfully deliver a project.
