EYFS Class Teacher Location: Chichester Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Full time Pay: Paid to scale (£170 – £233 per day) About the Role A 2 form entry Primary school in the wider Chichester area is seeking a Year R teacher starting January 2026. This is a role with full class teacher responsibilities, initially for two terms on a fixed term contract but could be extended into the following academic year. You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a Year R class, working closely with the other Year R teacher to plan for continuous provision and phonic lessons. The role includes full teaching responsibilities and offers the opportunity to contribute to wider school life. What We’re Looking For Qualified Primary Teacher with experience Teaching Year R children Confident in managing classroom routines and expectations in a continuous provision setting. Good behaviour management techniques. Skilled in adapting teaching to meet a range of pupil needs, including SEND. Requirements UK-recognised teaching qualification.
