Internal Audit & Assurance Manager - 12-month FTC Reports to: Head of Audit and Assurance Location: London or Milton Keynes Rightmove is the UK’s favourite property platform, with a simple purpose: to give everyone the belief that they can make their move. We’re looking for an Internal Audit & Assurance Manager to join our Audit & Assurance team and play a key role in strengthening our internal controls, risk management and governance. Reporting into the Head of Internal Audit & Assurance, this role offers broad exposure across the business, including regular interaction with senior leaders and contribution to reporting for the Group Leadership Team, Risk Committee and Audit Committee. You’ll work closely with our third‑party Internal Auditors and support the business as we prepare for the revised UK Corporate Governance Code. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys autonomy, variety and working in a fast‑paced, tech‑led, FTSE‑listed environment. You’ll be working in a hybrid way, with travel to either our Milton Keynes or London offices twice a week. What you’ll be doing Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and develop a robust understanding of Rightmove’s key risks and controls Deliver internal audits end‑to‑end, including agreeing scope, managing fieldwork and discussing findings with Heads of Department Support the development of Rightmove’s Internal Control Framework as we move towards the revised UK Corporate Governance Code Be responsible for the management of our risk software including effectively liaising with the provider, being the point of contact for queries from within the business and using it to develop reporting. Work closely with our third‑party Internal Auditors on audit scoping, delivery and the agreement of recommendations Track and oversee audit actions, ensuring recommendations are implemented and closed within agreed timeframes Contribute to reports for the Group Leadership Team, Risk Committee and Audit Committee Lead and support risk‑based, ad‑hoc audits and investigations as required Co‑ordinate and conduct investigations into whistleblowing cases and policy breaches Help drive forward Rightmove’s corporate risk management and internal audit agenda Who you are A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Proven internal audit experience from practice (ideally Big Four) and/or industry Experience designing and delivering audit programmes and using risk software in complex, fast‑moving or multi‑entity organisations Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and explaining findings in a clear, pragmatic and proportionate way A naturally inquisitive mindset and the ability to get up to speed quickly with new systems and processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to see the bigger picture A self‑starting approach, with the confidence to work independently and manage competing priorities Experience in a technology‑led or FTSE‑listed business is welcome, but not essential.
