Role: Operations Manager - Building Supplies
Location: On site, Based in the Bristol area
Sector: Building Materials / Construction Supplies / Timber Merchants
Package: £38,000 - £42,000
We are recruiting an Operations Manager for one of the leading building supplies companies. This role offers the opportunity to bring your own ideas and processes and have a real impact on the depot's running. Builders merchants experience is preferable but not essential. Experience as a Yard Manager or Transport Planner/Transport Manager would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day operations, identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
* Ensure adherence to quality procedures and investigate any non-conformities.
* Enforce Health & Safety procedures across the operation.
* Contribute to evaluating and developing operational strategy and performance measures.
* Implement and review a continuous improvement strategy.
* Manage a team and liaise with Branch Director and management to ensure smooth operation.

* Excellent commitment, leadership, and organizational abilities.
* Attention to detail and the ability to use initiative to solve day-to-day issues.
* Proven management experience within the Supplies industry or Construction sector.
* Flexible, positive, enthusiastic, and able to work under pressure to support company growth.
