We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our learning community at Peel Primary School. Peel Primary School and Eliburn Nursery cater to Nursery to P7 students, located in Eliburn, Livingston, and are part of the Inveralmond Learning Community. The school aims to provide an inclusive and nurturing environment for children and their families. Currently, the school has a role of 430 pupils across 14 classes, with 65 children in the nursery, housed in a separate building. The dedicated staff includes the Head Teacher, DHT, PT, teaching and non-teaching staff, all working together to support and challenge learners. Our supportive parents actively participate in school activities and provide valuable feedback. The school also offers a well-attended free breakfast club.
We are seeking an enthusiastic clerical assistant to support both the school and nursery. Good communication skills are essential, and you should enjoy working as part of a team. The post holder will collaborate with all stakeholders within Peel Primary School to ensure a high-quality student experience.
This position is classified as Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check before an offer of employment is made by West Lothian Council.
