£14.10 per hour |Part‑time childcare role | 11:30am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday
15 hours per week | All year round | Bank holidays off
We are looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our established Bromsgrove nursery as a part‑time Nursery Practitioner, supporting children and staff during the lunchtime period. This lunchtime nursery role is ideal if you’re seeking flexible hours, a school‑friendly schedule, or a reliable midday Early Years support role.
Working across rooms, you’ll help create a calm, nurturing experience for children during mealtimes, rest periods and transitions – making this an important and valued role within our friendly nursery team.
About You
This role would suit an Early Years Practitioner / Childcare Practitioner who has:
* A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
* Experience in a nursery or early years setting
* Knowledge of the EYFS and confidence supporting children across age groups
* A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
* A warm, calm approach and the ability to adapt across different nursery rooms
* Enjoys working as part of a supportive nursery team
Your Role as a Lunchtime Nursery Practitioner
* Provide high‑quality care and supervision during lunchtimes
* Support mealtimes, rest routines and smooth transitions
* Work flexibly across the nursery to support staff and children
* Maintain a safe, welcoming and well‑organised environment
* Promote children’s wellbeing through positive, reassuring interactions
