What skills, knowledge, and experience are required?
1. Significant demonstrable experience in Cloud compute, storage, and configuration, ensuring solutions are repeatable, scalable, resilient, and highly available.
2. Proven ability in the use and administration of source code management systems such as GitLab, including writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
3. Strong knowledge and practical experience of working with Unix operating systems, container technologies, and container orchestration.
4. Proven ability to write Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and Config-as-Code (CaC) using Ansible. CloudFormation experience is desirable.
5. Experience in automating toil to improve efficiency, reliability, and reduce manual repetitive tasks.
6. Extensive experience within Service and Delivery management frameworks (ITIL - Incident, Problem, Change) and Agile methodologies.
Your role
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for Hybrid Cloud Services, you will model infrastructure solutions adhering to best practices, focusing on operational stability, resilience, and availability. You will collaborate with Architects, Site Reliability Engineers, Delivery Managers, and Product Managers to support the implementation and operation of cloud-hosted products and services.
