We’re committed to delivering on our promises, on time, on budget.Your new roleThe Yard Foreman will support the Operations & QHSE Director with the management of yard activities and support seamless operational activities. The Yard Foreman is accountable for:General Yard Duties – responsible for general yard duties, including overseeing the upkeep of the yard, workshop and office locations. Manage waste disposal and general housekeeping of the yard. Load Outs/ins – Manage and coordinate with the team load out and load ins of equipment, ensuring done in a safe and efficient manner Plans – responsible for maintaining transport plans for equipment Parts Management – manage, record and order for spare parts in collaboration with / for the technicians. Checking items in and out – keeping logs/records as appropriateQHSE Standards – ensure the Yard is compliant with all safety standards and any safety standards are maintained – the yard reflects the quality of our work and attitude toward safety first cultureWhat you’ll need to succeedThe successful candidate will have:Telehandler / forklift operator ticketSlinger / signaller ticketExperience working at heightExperience managing yard activities including load out and load in of specialist equipment (and general deliveries to the yard)Able to track and order equipment/sparesPlanning, coordinating and executing transport requirementsKnowledge of safety standardsKnowledge of managing and organising general maintenance activities for yard, workshop and officesHighly organisedExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office (word, outlook, excel etc. )Excellent time management skillsAbility to use your own initiative and work independentlyStrong attention to detailWhat you’ll get in returnA competitive salary, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.
