Job Description
We are looking for a team player who is comfortable using computer systems, can communicate effectively with colleagues across the site, and is physically capable of handling manual lifting duties as part of the daily workload.
Key Responsibilities
1. Receive deliveries and complete all associated paperwork
2. Maintain accurate delivery notes and required documentation
3. Update ERP systems with stock and order information
4. Support inventory management, including regular stock checks
5. Efficiently and accurately pick customer orders
6. Operate mechanical handling equipment (training provided)
7. Operate forklifts safely (training provided)
8. Maintain a clean and organised warehouse and loading bay
9. Help improve and optimise storage solutions
10. Maintain and update the COSHH register
11. Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
12. Experience working in a similar stores or warehouse role
13. Ideally experienced in using forklifts (training can be provided)
14. Confident communicating within the team and with wider on-site teams
15. Comfortable using computer systems (email, Excel, order systems – training provided)
16. Physically fit and able to lift up to 30kg
17. Ideally holds a UK driving licence (useful for commuting and use of site vans)
