We are seeking a friendly and organised Counter Assistant to join a cosmetics sales team. You will be working 28 hours per week over 4 days per week which includes Saturdays. This is your opportunity to join a friendly sales and customer service focused team within an established and successful local business. Your new job: Your job will include welcoming customers, answering questions, recommending products, upselling and advising and assisting with transactions. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, including welcoming customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases. Sales: Building rapport with customers, and delivering expert product recommendations. Visual Merchandising: Maintaining a clean and organised store environment and participating in visual merchandising efforts. Cash Handling: Operating the cash register and handling transactions. In-Store Events: Participating in in-store events to drive sales and customer engagement. About you: Previous experience in retail or customer service. Proactive / consultative sales background. Knowledge of cosmetics and beauty products. Good communication skills. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and balancing tills accurately Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Good time management to prioritise duties during busy periods An eye for detail. Able to work Saturdays as part of your rota. Salary and employee benefits: Starting wage of £12.26 per hour (review in April).
