Overview
Join our HR Team at The Humber Health Partnership, dedicated to delivering world‑class NHS services. We recruit either Band 5 (37.5 hours) or Band 6 (30 hours) depending on experience and suitability. The role provides expert HR advice, manages employee relations caseloads, supports workforce priorities and organisational change, and champions an inclusive workplace culture.
Successful candidates will be an Associate member of CIPD and will hold or be willing to pursue CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
We offer flexible, hybrid working with a base at Hull or Cottingham and some travel to Grimsby and Scunthorpe. Base location will be agreed at offer stage. The role supports nearly 20,000 colleagues across our hospitals.
Responsibilities
* Provide a range of HR guidance and advice to staff and managers across the Care Group/Directorate, ensuring consistent application of employment law and best practice.
* Lead the planning and processes to achieve and maintain the Group’s Key Workforce Performance Indicators (e.g., Attendance, Retention, Personal Development Reviews, Mandatory Training) across all specialties.
* Prioritise and manage a caseload of employee relations issues, ensuring policy compliance, consistency, and provision of advice to managers on all aspects of employment policy and procedure, including post‑employment matters.
* Contribute to the successful implementation of prioritised People Plan interventions and solutions, supporting organisational redesign and change interventions.
* Establish and maintain a productive link between the HR Advisory Service, Care Group Business Partners and centralised HR functions (e.g., Recruitment, Medical Staffing).
Qualifications
CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR experience.
Associate CIPD membership.
Confidence in HR processes and employment legislation.
Enthusiastic, proactive, solution‑focused approach in a busy environment.
