Job Opportunity: Material Scheduler/Planner
Baltic Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Permanent Material Scheduler/Planner based in Pickering. The role involves overseeing stock management and the delivery of incoming materials.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Analyze sales orders, forecasts, and customer demand to convert into vendor orders.
2. Use AX to understand MRP and NET requirements.
3. Manage consignment stock through monthly verification and declarations.
4. Investigate and resolve invoice queries.
5. Maintain accurate lead times and prices in the AX system.
6. Ensure trade agreements are current.
7. Support with MP&L activities such as KPIs, stock management, stock takes, and DOH.
8. Liaise with internal and external vendors.
9. Maintain KPI targets set by the business.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
11. Book and register goods inward receipts on AX.
12. Manage and maintain the Goods Inwards delivery calendar.
13. Ensure timely filing of all paperwork.
14. Raise purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders via email or telephone with vendors.
Applicants should have:
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to use own initiative.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and AX.
* Enthusiasm and a proactive mindset.
* A can-do, self-motivated attitude, eager to learn.
* Supply chain experience or education (advantageous).
* Flexible attitude towards working hours.
* Maths and English GCSEs at grade C or above.
Salary & Working Hours:
£26,000 per annum. Working Monday to Thursday from 7:50 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 7:50 am to 1:30 pm.
