Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi Trader to join our team at East2East Claim Solutions.
This could be as a full time employed role or as a self employed sub-contractor .
As a Multi Trader, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to joinery, plumbing, painting, carpentry, masonry, and more. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in multiple trades and the ability to work independently. This role is suited for candidates who have experience working in the insurance repair sector. The desired candidate should be able to travel across the Midlands postcodes on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out various repair tasks in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by escapes of water, flooding, fire, etc.
* Perform joinery work such as fitting doors, windows, and cabinets
* Handle plumbing tasks including installation and repair of pipes, fixtures, and fittings
* Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
* Paint surfaces using appropriate techniques and materials
* Carry out carpentry tasks such as constructing shelves, repairing furniture, and installing flooring
* Assist with heavy lifting when required
* Fabricate and assemble structures or components as needed
* Conduct masonry work including bricklaying, tiling, and plastering
Skills:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
* Proficiency in joinery techniques and the ability to carry out precise measurements
* Strong plumbing skills including knowledge of pipe systems and fittings
* Experience using a wide range of hand tools and power tools
* Painting skills with an eye for detail and the ability to achieve a high-quality finish
* Carpentry skills including the ability to cut, shape, and install various materials
* Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting tasks
* Ability to fabricate and assemble structures or components accurately
* Knowledge of masonry techniques such as bricklaying, tiling, or plastering
