Wealth Management is a relationship-based service, offering tailored, personalized attention and collaborative support throughout their life journey.
Role Overview
The Premier Relationship Manager is the primary contact for a portfolio of mass affluent clients with a net worth of £250k to £750k. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships, growing customer portfolios, and securing new business. This role involves managing existing customer relationships and supporting clients through key life events such as investing, saving, planning for retirement, and family protection.
You will work closely with Wealth Managers, undertaking proactive client contact, handling banking queries, and collaborating with branch colleagues to identify new client opportunities. Some visits to customers' homes or workplaces may be necessary, and a driving license and personal vehicle are required due to geographical client locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored Relationship & Wealth Management services to your client portfolio within your franchise.
* Act as a Brand Ambassador for HSBC, providing exceptional customer experiences and fulfilling customer needs at first contact.
* Identify customer needs, leveraging franchise levels for quality referrals and managing day-to-day banking needs.
* Manage customer welfare autonomously in conjunction with Wealth Managers.
* Provide outstanding service, achieving contact standards and enhancing client-facing interactions.
* Collaborate with your Wealth Manager to achieve collective objectives, develop meaningful relationships, and improve income generation.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role within financial services, especially with affluent clients.
* Experience in relationship building, trust cultivation, and long-term client partnerships.
* Ability to identify wealth needs and refer to specialists appropriately.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for establishing robust client relationships.
* Proven collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams.
* Understanding of risk management and compliance with regulatory processes.
* Knowledge of financial planning and wealth products is advantageous but not essential.

This branch-based role is located in Grantham or Boston, with travel to Skegness, Wisbech, and Louth.
