We urgently need Volunteer Minibus Drivers to support our transport services, helping vulnerable and elderly individuals attend our community activities and stay connected.
Since 1933, our charity has been making a difference through care homes and over 30 community services, assisting over 3,000 people annually.
Drivers will transport customers, conduct vehicle and safety checks, act as community ambassadors, support independence, and ensure safety and cleanliness of vehicles and environment.
Requirements include a clean driving license with at least two years' experience and completion of funded MiDAS training. An Enhanced DBS is also necessary.
Responsibilities involve following instructions, adhering to safety standards, attending assessments and training, and reporting concerns. This volunteer role offers benefits like flexitime and store discounts, with work conducted in person.
