GSL Education are connecting experienced Sports Coaches with schools across Wakefield, focusing on the WF4 area, to deliver engaging sessions that build participation, confidence, and physical development. As a Sports Coach, you will lead activities, support learners of all abilities, and create a positive and inclusive environment that fosters enthusiasm for sport. Core Responsibilities: Plan and deliver fun, structured sports sessions. Support pupils in developing fitness, coordination, and teamwork skills. Promote positive behaviour and active participation. Assess progress and provide feedback to pupils and staff. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to enhance PE and extracurricular opportunities. Requirements: Experience delivering sports activities to children or young people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Sports Coach. Ability to motivate learners and adapt sessions for varying abilities. Knowledge of safeguarding and student welfare. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
