* JOB TITLE: LECTURER - ENGLISH (INCLUDING A LEVEL AND DEGREE)
* LOCATION: KING'S LYNN
* HOURS: 18.5 per week
* SALARY: £15,265 - £19,250 per annum (£30,529 - £38,500 FTE)
Due to internal progression we have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to join our Humanities team on a part-time basis, working 18.5 hours per week from January 2026.
Responsibilities
You will teach a range of courses including A Level English language/Literature and on some of our degree programmes. We are committed to expanding the learning opportunities for our learners and growing our provision to better meet the needs for our local communities. This is a rare opportunity to join our highly skilled and supportive team.
Qualifications
* It is essential that you hold a degree in a relevant subject area, as well as a relevant masters degree.
* If you do not hold a teaching qualification currently you must be willing and able to undertake one with our support.

Salary progression
Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 12 or above (£35,831 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
Organisation
We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving humanities team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength delivering a wide range of programmes including A-level and BA English and History degree.
