Job Overview
Manages the operational aspects of projects and programs. Will ensure that all project work is completed in accordance with SOPs, policies and practices.
Essential Functions
1. Create, track and report on project timelines
2. Manage project budgets and approval of invoices
3. Produce and distribute status, tracking and financial reports for internal and external team members and senior management.
4. Prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings.
5. May be assigned responsibility for sub-projects or specific components of the project or program
6. May participate in proposal development and sales/proposal presentations
7. Coordinate with other project resources within and outside the organization.
8. Provide input into project proposals and RFPs.
9. Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with standard processes, policies and procedures and meets project timeline metrics.
10. Serve as a backup contact for internal Project Managers.
11. Identify and negotiate out of scope project work
12. Responsibility for financial reporting on the project including tracking deliverables and invoicing
13. Meet with team members on a regular basis regarding project tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
14. Partner with other Project Managers to develop and implement process improvements
Qualifications
15. Bachelor's Degree Req
16. 3 years of related experience Req
17. Fluent in Japanese and English language
18. Equivalent combination of education, training and experience Req
19. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
20. Good problem solving skills
21. Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics
22. Good teamwork skills
23. Excellent customer service skills
24. Ability to work under limited direction
25. Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications
26. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
