As a Deputy Manager, you will assist the Registered Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the children's residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care are provided. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team of Support Workers, working closely with children and their families to support their emotional, social, and developmental needs. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the management and delivery of high-quality care for children with learning disabilities. * Lead, mentor, and support a team of carers, ensuring they adhere to policies and procedures. * Work closely with families, social workers, and other professionals to provide holistic support for each child. * Ensure all compliance and regulatory standards are met, including safeguarding and health & safety protocols. * Handle staff scheduling, training, and performance management. * Maintain up-to-date records * Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the home, encouraging personal development and life skills.
