As an Electrician, you will be responsible for providing a professional and customer orientated service for a housing provider. You will diagnose, undertake and efficiently complete repairs in both occupied and empty homes. You will also carry out a range of electrical repairs, installation and testing as responsive repairs, planned investment refurbishment works and a planned programme of electrical installation condition reporting.
Responsibilities
* Execute works in accordance with trade qualifications and assist other trade operatives to fulfil their work orders.
* Ensure works completed are to the highest standard and are correctly completed first time as reasonably practicable.
* Participate as an electrician in the delivery of an effective out of hours service.
Qualifications / Training
* Hold a level 3 Electrical qualification, with 18th edition updates and 2391 inspection and test qualifications and experience.
* A van and basic power tool allocation will be provided; you will provide your own hand tools.
* Must have a full UK manual driving licence.
* The post holder will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure check and a six month probation period.
